I've gone 3 times in the last 2 days! I love that they're fast, cheap, and the food is all pretty good! Service is what you'd expect of a hk cafe, hardly anyone speaks english but I'm just there for the food. Baked Pork Chop Rice- 4/5 Really generous with the pork chop, but their sauce is a little bit on the sweeter side. This is my favorite. Curry Beef Rice- 2/5 The curry was watery and it had a lot of bell peppers. Stick with the HK style food. Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings- 4/5 These were so juicy and crispy! I also love that it's all mid joint chicken wings. I think it could have been more peppery, but they were a crowd pleaser. Beef Chow Mein- 3.5/5 I prefer chow fun but they ran out. It wasn't anything special. Salted Fish and Chicken Tofu- 4/5 I like the flavor of this so much but I wish they gave more chicken. Black Lemon Tea-5/5 When we ordered this in store, the aunties made it in like 15 seconds. It tastes like vita lemon tea. Really good.

Got takeout from Skyline Cafe! We got two really similar orders, one is a pork cutlet over rice and the other is a chicken cutlet over rice. I love their tomato sauce and mixing it with rice. My boyfriend also got their chicken soy sauce chow mein!

I really liked the food here! It's Cantonese and very good. Parking is good on a weekday and free. The food comes out hot. Cash only! They have so many choices. The art reminds me of the 90s childhood. I went during lent so we got fried sole, spicy fish and chow mein Hong Kong style with veggies and seafood. So good. We got hot tea complimentary. The place is cold (it's skyline/dc) so we sat in the back. A lot of people eating here it's fast and affordable

If you want comfort Chinese/HK food at a no frills place, this would be it! The prices are very affordable (esp in the SF area) and the portions are generous. I really enjoyed the beef and black bean entree, beef was very tender. Chow fun had the classic wok taste, which made it extra tasty. The interior walls are covered with cartoon and anime murals, really cool vibe in here. Staff was great too, super attentive and nice with any of our requests! Highly recommended!

Classic Chinese food for cheap and you get what you paid for. The perfect yelp rating of 3-4 stars indicates the best, authentic Chinese food. They have lunch deals for rice dishes for $8-10 and noodle dishes $10-12. I ordered: 1. Tomato beef Chow fun: Delicious! I liked the beef and the flavor of the sauce with the noodles. I wish the noodles were a bit more crunchy but either way it was still delicious. Lots of beef and the portion size was quite large for $10. 2. Scrambled egg seafood chow fun: One of my favorite dishes and they were so generous with the amount of shrimp! I did feel it needed a little more soy sauce but I guess it's better to be more bland and you can make it more salty rather than the other way around. Overall, Delicious and cheap. What else do you want in a Chinese restaurant. Lots of lunch and dinner deals. Good portion size. Decent service. I'll definitely be back!

Good Chinese food for cheap! Just like many HK cafes, the workers do not have the best services in terms of attitude and mannerism but they are super quick! All of our food and beverages came out in less than 10 minutes! Our favorite was the salt and pepper tofu. My husband and toddler were munching on those non-stop at the restaurant! Everything else was standard for Chinese food and tasted good. Skyline Cafe has deals throughout the day! We came during the evening happy hour (before 6pm) and got a full meal for around $50 after tips and taxes. Totally worth it! The customer services are slightly better in person than over the phone and most of their customers are Cantonese speaking. One of the servers was kind and even helped us pack our leftovers. The cashier lady needs to be a bit more patient though. She seems to always be in a rush even when it is not busy. Unlike traditional HK cafes with the bright white lights, this place is filled with colorful artwork like Pokémon and Mario World. Super random but the paintings kept our one year old toddler entertained throughout the whole dinner. Note: cash only!
